IC Occluder is an occlusion balloon catheter for use in occluding intercostal arteries during surgery for thoracic descending aortic aneurysm and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm.The catheter is provided with a silicone balloon to minimize damage to the tunica intima, which is the delicate inner lining of vessels. This product comes in two lengths: short and long; providing options to choose based on the target location to perform more safe and effective occlusion.

Silicone Balloon

• High-pressure resistance silicone balloon, developed based on the unique technology known as Phycon, can conform to blood vessels and maintain hemostatic effects even when placed over long periods of time.

Catheter

• The catheter tip can ensure smooth insertion into interweaving capillaries that branch off from the thoracic descending and thoracoabdominal arteries. The catheter body, made of special material, can demonstrate excellent flexibility and easy-to-use functions.
• Twist-locking mechanism: Just twist a syringe-mounted connector to lock; no stopcock required.
